  • Friends Visitor Visa - Rejected

    Hello All,
My friend who is married attended the visa interview, but got refused. She answered all the question and produced all the documents, inspite of this, the visa officer suspected that my friend is having another relationship with me and rejected the visa. The fact is that there is no wrong relationship between us, we have been friend since from the age of 10.
I am confused what to do now, should i ask my friend to reattend the interview, what documents can convince the visa officer to grant the visa. What can be done to get the visa, can anybody who has experienced such scenarios, please help me out.
Does this visa rejected has any impact in getting future visa. Fortunately there was nothing they stamped in the passport.

Please friends, can anybody help me out.

    Thanks
    Regards

    Arava.

Thanks for the link which you had forwarded to me, really appreciated.
How do i know that my friend is rejected in which section, whether 214-B or 221-G or 212(A)(6)(C). There was nothing informed to my friend or neither nothing was printed in the passport.
IMMIHELP, you have been helping many people by providing information, in your experience you would have come across many casses like this, can you help me out with some more information, which would be really valuable.

        Hi Arava,

        1. The US consulates, now a days are nor stamping anything on the Passports. But they have all the data about your case, (fingerprints !!!)

        2. Did the Consulate, gave your friend any letter of refuasl to your friend? If not, it would most probably u/s 214(b)

        2. By the way, what is the purpose of this visit of your friend to US? If it is just holiday trip, why is she leaving behind her husband?

Each applicant's case is decided on their own merits. The applicants themselves should qualify for the visa, both personally and professionally.

I agree with question # 3 above. Why would a married woman, leave her husband and go visit a male friend in the USA? that is VERY suspicious.
