Hi All,

I am new to US.Yesturday I read about the visitor visas,in immihelp.com and I learned that the consulate will issue vistor visa for 3 to 6 months.My doubt what should be the gap between each visits.suppose if I leave on jan 01 2008 from visitor visa then if I come back to india on jun 1st 2008 (6 months) and when can I go back to the US after jun 1st 2008 like (gap between the trips)

Please advice me.Thanx in advance.

Any visitor should spend MORE time in the HOME country than in the USA in any 12 month window.

That means, if you travel to the USA for 6 months, then wait at least (minimum) another 6 months before going back. That makes you spend 6 months in USA and 6 months in home country.

The best would be, if your visits are not so long, try visiting for 1-4 months... and leaving gaps of 6 months between visits. Enjoy your visa.
