Need suggestions on Visitors visa for my parents

I want to invite my parents to USA on B2 visa in the month of March, 2008. Right now i am on F1-OPT status and I am gonna apply for my H1B through the TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY in the second week of January. If i do so, i will get my H1B by April, 2008. So my question is ...can i invite my parents while i am on my OPT status? Does my application for H1B (though there will be no status change until i get my H1B in April) complicate anything in this matter? How do i need to proceed?
