Passport validity for Tourist visit

Wishing everyone on the forum a very Happy New Year.
My parents wish to travel to visit me in the US in April 2008 and return back end of July 2008. Their Indian passports are valid upto August 27th 2008 and US visitors visa is valid upto 2017. My question is whether there are any restricitions in travelling to the US for a duration that is so close to the expiry date of the passport.

6 months before the passport expires is advisable. you got plenty of time to get a new passport for them and they can travel using the visa in the old passport and the new passport for the stamps.
