Name problem

My fathers name given name in passport is Srinivasa Rao(Same as his 10th class board certificate name).But his bank accounts, property docs,spouse name in my moms passport and fathers name in my passport have the spelling Sreenivasa Rao .He even signed in the passport as Sreenivasa Rao.We are filing for visitors visa for my parents.Will this name inconsistency cause a problem.if yes ,please provide a solution to solve the problem.

I saw in earlier posts that for name inconsistency an affidavit is required and the 'Other names' columns in DS-156 has to be filled with the alternate name.
So does the same solution apply for this case also..Please respond soon.Awaiting reply.
