B2 Visa paaport return

Hi,

My mom attended the B2 visa interview last week in Chennai and she has not received the passport yet. I did check the VFS website and it says the passport has not been handed over to VFS. Is there any reason for consulate not returning the passport? Who do we contact to get the passport? Thanks in advance.

My dad's passport has also not arrived yet.
Were you able to find a solution?

I sent an email to [email protected]. And my mom's passport was returned after 2 weeks.

hey guess what i too am having the same problem while tracking the passport this is what it mentioned "Your passport has not been handed over to VFS. Kindly contact our regional call centres for further queries" only thing is she had her interview today.....but my friends parents attended in the last week of jan and in two days got their passport.....i was quite worried about it....pls let us know what happened and the same here too..
