usmle cs visa

hello!!!!
i passed usmle step 1 and waiting for step 2 (ck) result.
i applied for cs visa (b1/b2) in mumbai consulate...

i need help regarding accommodation issue...i plan to stay with my frnd who is there on f1 visa... so do i need I-134 signed by him to show vo? or a letter from him stating that he is providing me accommodation will do...

all the financial support is provided by my personal and family funds...its just that he is going to provide accommodation in his place...

what i sh'd i do for that...

An invitation letter will be sufficient. No I-134 is needed.
