collecting Passport after Interview..

Hi Guys..

My mother is having visa interview on 3rd march at 3.30pm..

1.. I read that they can collect the passport between 4pm to 5pm on the same day ,if it gets granted .. My question is Since she is having interview at 3.30 pm is it possible to complete every procedure before 4pm?

2.. we have also given the Bangalore ,Koramangala DART office address for the VFS to send the Passport back.. Should my mother herself has to go to the DART office to collect the passport or my sister can collect on her behalf?

Which is the best option
1..To collect it in chennai itself OR

2.. Go to DART office and collect it ..

Yes you can collect it on the same day but need to show the appointment letter so make sure she is carrying an extra copy of the same.
Since she is having a very late interview time changes of getting on the same day are less but still she can give it a try. Also if she is planning to stay over there for a day then she can collect it the next day with her appointment letter. Also if she collects by her hand then it always safe and she can also check all the spealling and make sure there are no mistakes, if so then she can ask them to correct it and need not travel again to Chennai.
I am posting this since my parents got their visa approved today at Mumbai and they did collected their passport and left my for Native.

What are the step by step process once u enter the consulate office ..

like ..

1.. U stand in the Q and u will be asked for Interview letter...

2..?
3..?
...
...
...
Etc

Do they have to fill any form once they enter the office ?

As or passport being handed the same day, I doubt a 3:30 appointment will result in passport being handed over the same day. The collection time at VFS is between 2-4 or 4-6 depending on the city.

Recently consulate is taking 2-3 days to hand over passport to vfs for delivery.

you can track the passport using the track your passport link on the vfs site using passport number.
