can my mother reneter USA after only 2 months.?

HEllo All,

My mother has 10 yr mulitple entry visa and she was in US till feb 22 2007 and we both returned bck to India and now I want to take her along with me in april 1st week, I wanted to know if very short time gap of just 1 and half month affect her at port of entry, will there be any obejections. Is there any hard and fast rule on after how many days they can return back.?

What all questions can we expect at port of entry any prior experience shall be appreciated. will she be granted another 6 months of stay or lesser?

That depends on how much time (months) she spent in the USA in her last visit?

If it was more than 2-3 months. Then I would say it is NOT a good idea for your mom to return so soon.

Any visitor, should not spend more than 6 months in the USA in a year (a 12 month rolling window.) So, if your mom already spent 6 months in the USA, goes home for 2 months, and comes back to USA for 6 months, that makes it... that she has spent 10 out 12 months in the USA... now, does that sound like a visitor to you? it sounds more like someone living in the USA. Which is why Immigration may deny her entry or even cancel her visa for having visits so long so often.
