Visitor visa experiences in Chennai

What are the chances of somebody wanting to visit the US to have her daughter spend time with her dead husband’s sisters children? She has a job , the child is in school and she has parents who live in India.

What documents does she need to show?

What are the chances that she will get a visa?

Nobody can predict chances. But also clarify who is spending time with whom?
