Incorrect Name on US visa

Hi,

I have a valid US visa. My name is typed differently on my visa. I did not realize that the information on the visa is incorrect while I was in India. I realised it only when I was in the US. I need to get my visa corrected while I am in the US as I am having problems in getting a driver's license etc in the US, due to this incorrect information.

Now my question is Can I correct information on my visa while I am in the US without having to travel back to India?

No, you can't get that corrected in US. You will have to get through getting new visa stamp all over again.
