Tourist Visa - Date of birth problem

Dear Sir,

My friend has a valid passport (expiring in 2019). However, the DOB (only year) is wrongly mentioned since this was taken from the School Leaving Certificate (which had the wrong year). She should like to visit her brother in Australia. Since the year of birth of her brother and her will clash will there be a problem in issuing a tourist visa.

A court affidavit can be provided while applying for the visa.

Please help.
