  • Parents seperated, please advice

    My parents are seperated for 6 yrs now , but haven't filed divorce. If so do I need to produce any legal documents for their seperation?

        Please be clearer;
        Who is applying for a visitor visa? Who is in US ; you or your parents? And on what visa?

          I'm a housewife on a H4visa. The visitor visa is for my mother, who has two US Visa rejections previously. My husband who is on H1B visa is sponsoring her visa. However my parents are seperated but not divorced. Hence I would like to know do I need to get any legal documents for their seperation for the visitor visa interview? thanx

            No, not required. The officer will believe your mom, because living separated from one's husband is anyway not a positive factor for a visitor visa success.
            A more important document is your bc showing her name on it; to establish that you are indeed her daughter.

            By the way, what were the reasons for previous denials and did she mention then that she was separated?
