Hello,
This website has been very useful starting from my H1b through H4 visa processing. Thank you for the recommendations and suggestions due to which today I am in process of filing visitor visa for my mother in law(widow).
This info might help you for answering the question
I am on H1B visa valid upto Sep 2009. I have been in USA for 1Yr 3 months. I am currently in India and going back to US in May 2008.
This are the questions
#1 Father name in My wife's passport is `Gordhanrao` while mother-in-law's husband's name in passport is `Goverdhanrao`. Would it create problem for getting visitor visa? If Yes, what are the alternatives to get it corrected?
#2 My mother in law doesn't have any bank statement or property on her name. My father-in-law has primary joint account/property. And my father in law just expired in January 2008 end. So what document in this condition would support that she is going to come back to india within visa validated period? I am going to be her full sponsor from USA.
#3 Now as I am in India, The I-94 which I had or would submit to USCIS may not be valid. I am going back to US in May 2008 and hope if Mother in law gets visa I would take her with me. Is this condition OK?
Basically what support document should she have for supporting her coming back from USA?
Also I am processing visitor visa for my parents. DO I need to have two separate I-394 for my dad and mom?
I would appreciate your prompt response on this matter.
Thanks
Nilesh
