  • VISA Reapplication Fee

    Hi,

My Mother In Law got her VISA rejected because of 214b on April3. Our travel agent told us that she can reapply with the same documents without paying fees. Is this true? If yes how much is the time frame in which we can reapply?

You pay the fees everytime you apply. And this can be done by yourself without the need of a travel agent. There are high chances of proving incorrect information by these ppl, unintentionally, just because they dont know exact answers to questions in the form pertaining to you. Sometimes they just fill up something, all they care for is your money. And this one does not seem to know much, ask him/her only to reapply without paying the fees.

Fee is valid for 1 approval/denial. Unless it is admin processing when a consulate wants you to come back again after they do some processing, all visa fees need to be paid again.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
