  • Visa Granted for three months, want to visit again..pls advise

    Dear All

I have Visited this Website and Found Useful Information there, thank You all for that,

I have some few questions please help me,

I have visited the US last March 07 for two months,On My I 94 I was awarded six months but I stayed only for two, that happened after being hold at the secondary point of enrty Now I would like to visit again, and I was just given a three months visa.

    My Questions is

    (1) Is there any favour you can see on me to be granted another visa based on my past stay, since I have never violate any law??

    (2) With Your recomendations,Should I use the same point of entry I have used before or I can just use another point of entry??

(3)If I visit there again, will they take me again to the secondary inspection for further questioning??

    Please Help Me,

    Thank You in Advance,

    Kind Regards,

    Enrique

DO YOU MEAN TO GO AGAIN ON THE SAME VISA?
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.

The reason that you were given only a 3 month visa and you were held at secondary inspection shows something is not right with your purpose of visit or your situation and they suspect immigrant intent.

And if you go again so quickly,
You will not be allowed in. Your visa will be cancelled and you will be sent back. And you will have a hard time getting another visa.

Please use your common sense and do not go.

Did you have a single entry visa for 3 months? If so, you will need to apply for a new visa. You left well before the expiration date of your authorized stay. I view that as a positive in applying again. You may even receive a multi-entry visa this time.

If you receive the visa, be sure you use it wisely and not overstay. If you are planning another short stay, be sure to make that known to the border agent. Frequent short stays are more typical of true visits than the 6 month stays by many parents of posters here.

While your need to go to secondary inspection can be viewed as a problem, I see it as less of one than those individuals who apply for an extension and have it denied and yet are still granted additional entries.
