Visitor visa

Hi,
I am in the USA on H1 and I am planning to bring my parents here for a holiday (for a month). My parents have their passports and I need to process the visa. There is a small hitch. In my passport, my father's complete name is written where as in his passport, a shorter name is written. Will this cause a problem while processing the visa?

If some body is aware of this or a solution, can you please respond?

My Mother's name wrong in my passport

I noticed while preparing docs for my parents that, my mother's name in my passport has a middle name. But her passport does not have that is that fine?? or should i get my passport changed to reflect it the name correctly
