parent's visitor visa question

Hi,
I am planning to the embassy to get stamped H1 visa and want my parent to travel with me. Is it OK to apply me simultaneously with her for her to get visitor's visa. What would be advantages and disadvantages of this.

If this is the first time you are coming to US on a H1b and doing so along with your parent for a visitor visa, it will be denied for the fact that you still have not established yourself in the US, how can you support a visitor. Moreover, the VO will assume your parents are moving with you to stay in the US rather than visit.

It is not the first time for me to come to the US (multiple visits), but first time for H1B. I though that it could help her to get visa, when my parent will apply with me.
