Visiting USA & Canada

I am a citizen of the USA and I invited my sister from Belarus to visit me in August of 2008. A few days ago she obtained the VISA to the USA and now we plan how we will spend and enjoy our time during her visit. We rented a cottage on the lake Champlain about 45 minutes from Montreal, Canada. We would like to go to Canada for one day with my sister to visit Montreal. Please let me know what should we do make it possible. If she will get the Canadian VISA, will she be allowed to leave and get back to the USA? Is this anything we can do to make it?

She will need Canadian visa.

Whether she would be allowed back into the US or not depends upon whether she has single or multiple entry visa.
