Hi,
We are currently applying for a US Tourism Visa for a short 2 week break in Florida. I'm British and have lived in the UK my whole life (26 years); however my wife (who I married last year) is Chinese and currently resides in the UK on a residency visa (valid until August 09).
I don't need a visa (as I'm covered under the visa waiver program) however my wife does require a visa.
She is traveling with myself and my parents.
I am paying for the trip; but we reside with my parents currently while we save for our own home. I'm in full time employment (£23k+) and my wife has a small part time job and is also following an educational course.
is there any potential pitfalls in this application where they might try and catch her out during the interview?
I also have a question about the DS-156 and DS-157 application. One of the boxes to fill in asks for "Name and Address of Contact Person or Organization in the US". However we are just going on holiday and don't have a "contact". would it be appropriate to just put the hotel's details into there?
Thanks for the help.
