Urgent -Visitor visa second visit

Hi All,

My father-in law has 10 yr multiple entry visitor visa. He came here on april 2008 and left US on Aug 10th 2008. Can he come back to US in November 2008 or will that be a problem if he visits twice on the same year? If he can, can he stay here for another 5 months? Please let me know as soon as possible.

Visitors should spend more time in the home country than US. If not, they will be risking their visa at the POE or getting a short duration I-94 with a warning.

ok, then when can they come back in? If they come in the end of January, will that be a problem again?

It will be better for them to stay for more than 8 to 10 months in their home country and then make a trip to USA.
