Mother's name is wrong in my passport

Hi,

I am planning to apply for visitor's visa for my parents and just found that my mother's name is wrong in my passport. Her name is Swarnamoni Dutta where as in my passport it is entered as Swarnalata Dutta.

Her passport has the correct name.

Can someone please let me know what are my options here? Do I need to get my passport updated or it does not matter?
