Is DS-157 not required any more?

I recently created visa applications for my in-laws using vfs-usa.co.in site. The application site had me complete DS-156 but did not prompt me to fill DS-157. The application was completed successfuly.

Did I miss some step or DS-157 is not required any longer? Please guide.

(I understand from other posts that DS157 is only required for applicants between age 15 - 55. However, when I applied for my parents about @ 2 years back it was required even when both of them were above 55.)

It is not required any more based on the age.

Which consulate are you attending? The visa forms (remain the same) that you use (fill up Evisa form, vfs has different barcode) really depends on the consulate you attend.

i will have my appointment interview at US Embassy Manila....maybe. my system do not appear to have the minimum required version of Adobe Acrobat installed...tsk.tsk.. thanks for ur reply anyway..
