  • Need Help Tourist Visa rejected

    Hi All,

Unfortunately my parents visa got rejected today.

    Officer asked the following questions:

    1) how many kids do you have? 2 kids, daughter lives in India

    2) What do you do for a living? Automobile spare parts business.

    3) Who will run your business while you are away? My dad said "My brother would look after the business"

    4) he asked how much salry do you give the helpers at your business? here is wehre my Dad screwed up, As he was not expecting this question he just said I do not have any helpers.

    5) the the officer asked how much income do you have? My Dad answered one lakh rs. I.e it VO rejected. ( The truth is we have lands and the total income would have been 4 lakhs.)

    Here are my questions:

What strategy do I need to take going forward?

Should I apply next time only for my mom? If so what questions can VO ask? What extra documents would she need to take?

Or Can we try one more time to get Visa for both my parents? If so how should we prepare?

Any help is greatly appreciated, after all I just want my parents to see my house etc and live with me for a few months.

    Best Regards,

    Srini.

Does he actually have helpers in his business?

Why did he not report their actual income?

The VO can ask any question that might help him/her decide whether the visito visa applicant is a potential immigrant. As long as the applicant is determined to answer thruthfully, there is no need to try to guess the questions.

Does he actually have helpers in his business? Yes he has a helper in business.

Why did he not report their actual income?.

He thought that VO is asking about the money made in business. He did not include the agricultural income and interest from bank deposits.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

      Thanks,

      Srini.

Unfortunately, he and your mother must now overcome this lie. Sending your mother alone would be better at this point than sending the two of them so that you mother is not tarnished by your father's inaccurate responses.

        Send documents showing all income.

Thank you very much for taking time to answer my question.

How should I prepare my mother for interview? What possible questions can VO ask?

          Best regards,

          Srini.
