My H1 pettion expires in next 3 months. Can i sponsor Visitor visa ?

Hi Immihelp,

I am on a H1 visa and the petition is expiring on Feb 3rd 2009. I will apply for extention this month, and positively i will get an extention. I want to apply for my parents visitor visa. Can i do so now. Is there any restriction that i can apply so only if i have a minimum or 3 months of validity or so.
My next question is how many days does it take for processing an extention of H1 visa.

Yes, you can. B2 does not need a sponsor.
