Hi,

I studied and worked in US (F1 and H1B visa)for close to 7 years and relocated back to India. I would just like to visit US on visitor visa. What are the chances of getting the visa ?

No predictions. If you prove that you have ties to home country, the chances are high for you as you made a choice to return back to home country.

thanks for the reply. Also I visited US with tourist visa during school days. Will it help to take my expired passport also with this stamping....

Has anyone ever filed an Immigrant Visa petition on your behalf

what should I fill in? My previous employer had filed I-140 when I was working there ? So the answer to this will be Yes ? or No ( since this application is no more valid since I quit the employer)?

If it was filed, the answer has to be yes. You can explain to VO that it is no longer valid and you do not wish to immigrate.

I was there on H1B visa last . SO I need to put my H1B visa renewal stamping date correct ?
Also for how long ? Should I put the entire duration I stayed or the duration from last renewal date ?
