I am working on a L1 visa in US. how long should i have stayed in US to sponsor my parents as tourist?

AFAIK, there is no such duration taken into account. You can sponsor them at any point of time.

Sponsorship for tourist visa is a myth. A visitor does not need a sponsor. All documents that you send provides proof that they will not become a public charge in US and has someone here that they are visiting than immigrating.
