H1 Petition

I have H1 petion approved for the year 2008. But currently i am in the US on L1 with a different employer.

1. How long can i hold the petition without making it a visa.

2. Can my L1 employer get the H1 petion transfferred to their Name?

3. What happens to the status of my spouse with L2 and EAD if I move to H1?

If it was a COS, you are already on H1 and should not be working on L1.

You can choose to get it stamped anytime if it was NOT a COS. Not time limits as long as the petition is valid. If you switch to H1, the spouse should change to H4 by filing for a COS or a visa along with you. L2 and EAD can no longer be used.
