Returning your I-94 - panic stations, please advise!

Hi all,

I visited the US for the first time this month and enjoyed it immensely. I will be going back there to see my friend again in the next few months.

Shortly after I returned, I realised that the airline didn't take my I-94 from me, I have it here in my bag!!! I've read that it can impair your chances of entering the US if it is not surrendered.

Can someone please advise as to how I can return the I-94 form to the proper people?
I'd be extremely grateful if you could put my mind at ease and offer some advice on this problem. I am very worried I won't be able to return to the US.

ok, i spent the day looking through this embassy website in work today, and never came across this page.

then i find this link in a recent post
