Hi! There,
Can anyone gimme a feedback on probability of getting a visitor visa for students in 2nd attempt....with a senator's letter....does it make any difference?

Thanks for the reply. I have seen previous queries about the letter from the US senator. But haven't seen any responses about if they do count.
Does anyone have any prior experiences to this one?

which consulate is this & whic year is u'r sis/ bro studying? did they take a letter from their edu.institution? i am in the same boat, can u pl. reply.

half way thru the masters program. And yes, there was a letter from the school...that the officer looked into but just refused on 214(b)...
i wonder if anyone got a letter from a senator...if so..does it help?

mumbai...where did u're sibling apply?...does the consulate matter?

I don't know if consulate really matters. My sister is yet to appear for her interview and will let u know how it goes. But I have seen a couple of immihelp visitors whose siblings had their visitor visa granted both in Chennai and Mumbai Consulates.
Also, did u'r sister apply alone or with your parents?
