Tourist visa for sister

Hi I am planning to ask my younger sis whos in college in Chennai to visit us during her summer vacation for 2 months. Shes 20 now. Is it true that visas are rejected for people under 20 ?

There is no such rule, but in general, it is difficult for young people to get visa as they are generally not able to prove strong ties to India.
