Do we need I-134

Hi,

Myself, wife and kid (1yr old) planning to visit relatives (wife's elder sister and her family) in California on tourist visa for about 20 days. I shall be taking care of airfare & insurance expenses and we would be staying with them in their home. I'm working with a reputed IT Co in the Sales dept for past 3 years. I have following queries-

1.Do I show it as a self sponsored trip? In that case how much Bank Balance do I need to have?
2.Do we need I-134 from the relatives?
3. If I show self sponsored trip and at the same time show I-134 am I contradicting my stand? Will this weaken our case?

Yes, if you are sponsoring the trip, tell the truth. That's the only way to go.
It is a good idea to show whatever bank balance you have (don't create any), a letter from your employer granting you leave for visiting the US will also be helpful.
