visa fee increase and appntmnt with old HDFC

Hi,
I have HDFC receipt taken in June 2008 and took visitor visa appointment for my father. After that I came to know that visa fee has been increased recently.
My question is:

Fee increase is effective in my case also?
Do I have to cancel the appointment and take new HDFC and then take the appointment again?
