My friend (US citizen) sponsored his aunt for her visit visa. She came to US but overstayed (three years) in US and returned back to India last year. My friend is planning to sponsor his father-in-law for his visit visa now. When he prepares the affidavit of support form he has to mention his aunt's visit. Since the aunt overstayed in US, will that cause a problem with sponsoring his father-in-law?
