quota for b2 visa????

I heard there is a quota for a b2 visa.. is this true? if yes, may I know the cut off date and the number of visa to be granted. thanks

No, there is no quota.

If you have a strong application( clear cut purpose of visit, good funds and strong ties to India), they won't deny you.

i have another question, what is the least day, weeks, or month that a VO can give u? is it 6 mos? is this fix?
