Should I extend my Visitor Visa or apply in a different college?
Hello everybody!
I am in a difficult situation right now and I need your help.
I came in US in November 10th with Visitor Visa B2 and it expires on 9th May.
My visa is very limited - it is stated that I will stay one week for my brother's wedding.
However, I decided to stay longer and to try to apply in a college and get Student F1 Visa. I missed the deadline for the spring semester in December, because in the college they told me that I should stay at least 2 months in the country before applying for student. So in February I applied for the Summer Session which starts in 22 June. The problem is that my visa expires on 9th May and that is more than 30 days until 22 June and from the college explained me that they could not change my status of the visa, because my visa expires 2 weeks earlier. From the international center in that college advised me to apply in a different college, where the summer term starts before June.
So my questions are: Is it possible to apply for Visa Extension in that case?
What are the chances to get that visa extension? Is it true that if I apply my Toefl score it will help me to extend my visa?
Should I go to another college and apply my documents there, trying to get in a college soon?
What other options you think I have?
