visitor visa rejected

Hai!
My parents father(48) and mother(44)got their visitor visa rejected in March'04. My father while taking web appointment mentioned employer as none.
Now they want to apply again for visitor visa. Actually my father is an employee in private organization. Can he mention now employer while taking appointment or do they maintain the details why the visa got rejected before. kindly help me
