  • I-134 Form

My wife entered US on H4 visa and recently she got H1-B approval. She hasn't started the job as she hasn't got Social Security #. She is planning to go to US consulate in India to get H1-B visa stamped. My parents will also be appearing the same consulate for their Visitor Visa appointment. So I need to send them I-134 form. On Q-8 in this form, should I specify my wife as dependent even though she's got H1-B visa but has started her job yet?

    Thanks a bunch,
You guys are doing one hell of a job out there.

Just go ahead and list her as dependent.

It does not matter much either way.

    Good luck

Before they come to US, consider buying visitor medical insurance for them, available for instant purchase at www.immihelp.com/insurance or call 1-866-INSU-BUY

      Thanks for the prompt reply.

Sure. Getting medical insurance for them will be my next priority once they get the approval.
