online application

Hi,
I filled out my dad's I-156 and was trying to add on my mom on VFS website, and before I could add mom's details, screen poped up saying next earliest available appointment is April 8th....I do not want appt that early, I am looking at 2nd week of April as possible appt date...does the website give me choice or I have to take the date it shows available?I read the online application instructions and couldn't make out how choosing date thing works.
Help appreciated.

You can take any available date. You don't have to take the earliest available date.
