if you are resident of hyderabad .do we need to apply form there only?

hello everyone .Is there a rule that if you are resident of Hyderabad u need to apply at hyd consulate only.i am from hyderabad can i apply for visa at New Delhi consulate?will there be any complication ?

If you are a resident of hyderabad, you have to goto that ocnsulate only unless you are a resident of new delhi consulate jurisdiction for last 6 months, or you risk being redirected!
