Visitor's Visa/Unemployed Sponsor

To Whom It May Concern:

I am a US citizen and would like to sponsor (Form I-134) my parents to visit me here in US for a month.

I am currently unemployed, so my question is whether the status of employment will affect my eligibility to sponsor them. My bank can prove that I am financially fully capable to do so.
