I am planning to bring my mother to US on a visitor visa. I am on L1 visa with my Family who are on L2 visa.
My problem is that I do not have a Birth Certificate. I have Baptism Certificate (which is issued by the Chruch), but the problem with the Baptism Cert. is that it has a different name than the one which I use.
I will be appling at the Mumbai Consulate. I have gone thru the entire threads posted on Immihelp but have not found any thread which has any alternate suggestions or experience posted.
Can someone please let me know what are the alternate option(s) I have or if someone had any experience of interview w/o the Birth Certificate.
Any response will be highly appreciated.
