re-entering US with multiple visa

My mom has 10 year multiple entry visa. She is in US with me right now from Feb. She is returning to India on Mid May. She would like to revisit in October this year. She has her current stamping till August. Is it possible for her to re-enter US in late september or early october this year?

I am sure she is not going to be actually stopped/prevented from reentering the US in Sept or October. Your question ought to be whether Immigration officials will grant her a six month stay if she returns so soon after leaving the US.

The fact is that the B2 is a visitor visa. And visitors are meant to stay longer in their home country than in the country they are visiting.

So on re-entering the US so soon after she left, she may be asked tough questions by Immigration Officials as to the purpose and duration of her visit.

Do make sure she has convincing reasons.
