HELP!!! Visa Rejected - Only Son

Hi There,
My Mom's visa rejected. The consular officer said - "You have only one son & you might settle there".

Please suggest anything that might help to apply for the second time.

Show as much as you can regarding her ties to India. If your father is alive, both should apply together.

She can show property, income etc.

Father is not alive. She don't have much property. She gets pension.
If I get Senator letter, does it help ??

Senator letter is questionble. Some don't give and those who give, I am not sure how much it helps.

If there is any property in your father's name, you can show that. You can show pension etc.

Hi Immihelp,
She showed all the documents(property,pension, bank deposits). The consular officer said "your son is settled there. you will also settle there".

There is no specific advise I can give in this case. This stuff is so subjective that it depends upon the consular officer.
