Visitor visa status

Hi,

My Mother has a 1 year multiple entry visa to the U.S. which expires sometime in April 2004. She is planning on visiting the U.S sometime in March, 2004 for a 4 - 6 month stay.
My question is, would it be a valid time frame for her to travel in March as far as the visa is concerned or would she have to entend her visa in India before she travels.

Any thoughts about this would be greatly appreciated.

She can travel any time before her visa expires. Duration of stay will be determined at port of entry.
