Hi all ,
My in-laws visa got rejected in chennai consulate .We took malayalam appoinment .VO asked few questions
1) where does your son works?
My MIL answered
2) what is his designation?
Again to my MIL she answered
3) She again s/w?
My MIL Yes
4) How many kids you have ?
3 .My husband is the only one here and my SILaws are there in india .My younger SIL is un married
5)Where is your Son In law working?
P&T Dept
6) Does he support you financially?
My MIL said yes eventhough he is not supporting them.
7) Does your son give money?
My MIL thought she is asking about after reaching US and said yes.
Now to my FIL
What do you do ?
He said document writer(He prepares property registration documents)
The VO didn't understand what it is and asked whether it is a govt job .My FIL said no.
SHe asked how much he gets monthly?
FIL told it is not consistent (But he didn't specified a figure He earns min 15-20 k monthly)
Then Visa got rejected .we are thinking of applying for them again in next 2 weeks .Is it advisable? .VO didn't asked for any documents MY inlaws have 15 lakhs bank deposit (in account for past couple of years ) and 40 lakhs worth property and their parents are staying with them.
IS there a chance to get the visa approved ?
Is it possible for us to specify my FILaws occupation in detail in form DS156?
DO they need to hand over the invitation letter from my husband with the passport and DS 156 form to VO?
Please help us with this situation .
