Hi,
I cam to US on L1 and recently my company applied for change of status from L1 to H1B and it got approved. My visa still has L1 stamped but my current status is H1 and my wife's is H4 (I have recieved all my documents)
I want to invite my parents and in-laws together, here are my questions...
1. I have approx. $10,000 in my bank account, is that sufficient? If not, how much it should be?
2. Can both my parents and my in-laws take appointment together and appear together in front of VO?
3. I know that if appointments for parents and in-laws are on different dates then in DS form the latter need to mention that is any other relative has been sponsered recently. But if they are appearing together then what I should mention there?
4. I have also heard that some consulate gives 10 year multiple entry and some gives 1 year. Will it make a difference if during the interview at consulate if my parent mention they will stay for 2 months or if they say they will stay for 4 months?
5. I couldn't find a post which has this scenario of appearing together, if you can provide me best strategy, it would be great. My only requirement is that both my parents and in-laws gets the visa and when they come to US they will have at least 1 month overlap to be present for some functions.
