    hello.i am an indian doctor .i will be applying for business visa to appear for usmle exam in usa in september.i will be staying there for 2 weeks.i have been working here and have been filing income tax for 2 years.i have sufficient funds to meet the travel expenses and lodging.i do not have property in my name although there is sufficient property in my parents name (mother and fathers).i would like to know would my chances decrease since i donot have any fixed assets(property).and should i have my father financial support and take along with me affidavit of support.any reply will be welcome.

    regarding gettng visa for doctors is not easy, i will recommend you to take the exam in some other country where USMLE is conducted , after getting the score matched and contacting the US Medical schools you can get some reference from them to get the visa.

      i have already cleared step1 and step2 frombangalore. final step can only be taken in usa.i would also like to know althogh i have funds to bear the expenses should i still mention my father (affidavit of support) and does he have to be present at the embassy with me.any advice appreciated.

        also could anyone please tell me should i take original property docs or property assessement by chartered accountant.thanks.
