    Help..Applying for In laws

    hi,

    I am planning to apply for my mother in law's visitor visa. I am on H1 visa and my wife is on H4 visa. People are saying that if you are applying for in-law's wife's passport and stuff would be the closer relation than my passport.

    Who can spnsor her me or my wife, i mean in terms of relational impact who should sponsor her me or my wife?
    Can my wife sponsor her parents while she is on H4 visa?

    Can you tell me what documents are required from me and my wife?
    Who should write a letter to consulate me or my wife ?
    Who should write a letter of invitation to her me or my wife?

    Please any help will be greatly appriciated.

      You can sponsor your wife's parents...absolutely no problems there.
      As for the letter of invitation that can be from your wife and you.
