Visiter Visa I-94 Expired and my Adjustment of status I 485 Pending

My mother she is staying in US as Vister visa. We applied I-485 Adjustment of status and I 130. Her visa is expired in end of september. We applied for extension of her visiter visa but we got denial notice having reason that her intent to stay permenent in US.
Can you anyboady update me on this? is she need to go back to home country or can she wait for Adjustment of staus.

If you already applied for a 485, she is a potential immigrant and a visitor visa extension is not possible. She is a parolee if the 485 is pending. Talk to a lawyer to understand how this works.

Yhanks for your kind info. This is for my mom, we did extension for her B2 vister visa but they denies and gave reason you are potential immegrient. We Filled her I 485 in may 2009. We got receipt and she finised fingerprint things..
now her I 94 is expired sooon. i dont know what to do, can she stay for I 485 get clear or she need to go back to her home country,
Advise soon please....

She can stay because of her pending I-485, she is allowed to stay until her GC is approved or denied. Don't worry.

If she can stay here after B2 Visiter visa expired, is any problem she will face while I-485 GC interview ? Officer ask anything why you stay while your I-94 record for vister visa is expired?? something like this.

I want to make sure is she can stay in US or not?
